Foundation Scholarship Program

The Jefferson County Farmers Federation is committed to supporting students pursuing careers in agriculture, forestry, wildlife, and related fields through our scholarship program.   This scholarship provides financial assistance to students dedicated to the future of agriculture and rural industries.  

If selected, recipients must submit a semester transcript and proof of tuition, laboratory fees, and book expenses at the end of each semester.  

Upon verification of satisfactory grades, the foundation will reimburse approved educational expenses.

Recipients are expected to maintain a satisfactory GPA and uphold good moral character and citizenship throughout their academic journey.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  Be a full-time student enrolled in a School of Agriculture, Forestry, Wildlife, or a related field at a four-year college or university.

​   If applying for acceptance into one of these programs, submit a college application, high school transcript, and ACT/SAT scores along with the scholarship application.  Once accepted, a copy of the acceptance letter must be provided.   

 Submit a completed scholarship application, a copy of a valid driver's license, and three letters of reference (including name, occupation, address, and phone number of each reference).  

Be available for an interview with the Scholarship Committee.
